The 47th Annual Conference of the British Society of Gerontology


The conference theme this year is 'Ageing in an Unequal World: Shaping Environments for the 21st Century'

This is the premier gathering of gerontologists from a wide range of disciplines in the United Kingdom, with keynote presentations from renowned speakers, cutting edge research, and excellent networking and sponsorship opportunities.

The call for abstracts (oral and poster presentations) and symposia (including flagship symposia) remains open until Wednesday 24th January 2018. We welcome proposals from academics, researchers, practitioners, educators, policy-makers, the third sector, students, and those interested in researching ageing and later life.

To promote interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives of ageing, the conference will draw on abstracts from across disciplines including:
