On 17th May, we will be opening the doors of the Clinical Ageing Research Unit at the Campus for Ageing and Vitality. We welcome the public, researchers and staff across the University to visit us and find out more about the research activity that is held here.
We’d like to share more about the research that we do and the positive effect is has on patients in the NHS, as well as those participating and making a real difference.
We’ll be open from 11am – 2pm, so please drop in and see us during these times and:
- Find out more about the human movement laboratory
- Meet the research team working on exciting projects
- Take part in interactive demonstrations
- Find out about the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre, and how you can get involved in research across our themes
You will also get a chance to meet the fantastic team from the NIHR BioResource Centre Newcastle who can give you more information on how you could donate your genes to help valuable research in rare and common diseases.
