Funding available from the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre

The NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre plans to fund a small number of partial scholarships for the Clinical Research with Older People online module which starts in January 2019.

This funding is to encourage healthcare professionals with an interest in the health of older people and in clinical research to consider further academic opportunities. For those who are not at the stage of being able to make a commitment to a full-time Masters Programme or PhD, this scholarship will allow an introduction to clinical research with older people. The award offers £600 towards the cost of tuition fees and is open to all UK healthcare professionals and we would particularly welcome applications from nurses and Allied Health Professionals.
