National Feedback Survey: What’s it like being involved in NIHR research?

If you are a patient, carer, service user or member of the public who has been involved in research with the NIHR, we'd like to hear from you.

You may have helped design a research study, reviewed applications, been a member of an advisory group or involved in our many other activities; however you have been involved, we would like to hear your views.

NIHR is running a national survey to learn whether, as a public contributor to research, you feel:

  • that you have made a difference
  • supported and valued
  • that you have received sufficient feedback on your contribution, and how we can improve this in the future

The survey is not about your experience of being a participant in a research study.

The brief online survey is completely anonymous and the results will be published in March 2019.  We hope it will give us some useful information, which together with the UK PPI Standards, will help us measure progress in future years.
