NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre – request for applications

We invite applications for project funding from researchers within Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Newcastle University who have project proposals that address the overarching aim of the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre, to improve lives through world-class research in ageing and long-term conditions.

Submission deadline: 28th September 2017

The NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is a partnership between the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Newcastle University. It has the vision of improving lives through world-class research in ageing and long-term conditions. The NIHR Newcastle BRC is one of 20 nationally to be awarded funding from 2017-2022, with the remit of carrying out high quality early translational research and experimental medicine that benefits patients.
