Supporting researchers with patient and public involvement

To encourage and support impact and engagement with research, Newcastle University offers monthly advice and guidance sessions for researchers.

The informal drop-in sessions are planned for the next seven months throughout 2017 and give advice on:

  • How impact and public engagement are linked
  • What the difference between impact and engagement is
  • How best to involve patients and public with engagement

The Faculty of Medical Science Impact Officer will also be on hand to answer any questions about how best get the best impact from your research.
