
Free Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) workshops for researchers
A series of free Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) workshops for researchers are now available to book – and offer the chance to learn more about how to effectively deliver PPI in research.
The workshops will be hosted jointly by two of the NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre’s (BRC) research themes – Digital Health, Ageing Innovation & Inclusion and Dementia, Mental Health & Neurodegeneration.
They’re open to all research staff who want to learn more about how to effectively deliver PPI in their research.
Special attention will be given on how to conduct PPI with people with Dementia, Parkinson’s, mood disorders and across digital platforms in a local, regional and global context.

8 November: Public Patient Advisory Groups – taking PPIE through the lifecycle of a grant
22 November: Inclusion of Underserved Groups in PPIE
29 November: Conducting PPIE Globally
Registrations will close on 17th October.
A certificate of attendance will be provided to enable attendees to evidence their participation in the workshops.
