Involving people
We use our Patient and Public Involvement Strategy to ensure we achieve the highest standard of involvement in the research at the NIHR Newcastle BRC. On this page you will learn more about our Strategy and commitment to involving people in our health research.
Health research is not possible without people like you taking part. People provide our researchers with distinct life experiences and different views which ensure we research health problems in the right way and that the research ultimately makes a difference to people’s health.
To ensure we place people at the heart of the research we undertake at the NIHR Newcastle BRC we have agreed a Patient and Public Involvement strategy. We worked with patient and public representatives to help us decide what we focus and how we go about resourcing our Patient and Public Involvement activities and support.
