Emma is the Manager of the NIHR BioResource Centre Newcastle, and within this role has coordination responsibility of four of the NIHR BioResource strands based in Newcastle;
Emma ensures the smooth running of the BioResources, being responsible for patient and healthy volunteer recruitment strategy, as well as support for research studies using the BioResource data.
Emma brings a wealth of experience in the field of research support and governance, having coordinated the Newcastle Biobank since 2015. She also brings expertise in the field of genetics after completing her PhD in Osteoarthritis susceptibility loci.
