I completed my MSc in Computer Science at Newcastle University 2018 where I was mainly focused on pattern recognization and artificial intelligence and did my dissertation on Human activity recognition using wearable sensors with AI algorithms.
Before I came to the UK, I completed my Undergraduate degree in Transportation at the Civil Aviation University of China and had two year’s experience in the industry as a full stack software developer.
Now as an NIHR Newcastle BRC PhD student, I’m working on automatic fatigue assessment using multi-modality resources in a data-driven way, which is about algorithms modeling and building mobile application for data collection.
Machine learning, fatigue assessment.
I’m focusing on automatic fatigue assessment. Fatigue really affect people’s daily performance. It’s a subjective feeling and can be affect by other emotions, so giving a objective and automatic assessment for fatigue is important.
