Training Network
The NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre is committed to providing outstanding training opportunities in order to help build capacity and expertise for future clinicians and researchers in the field of ageing and long-term conditions.
We bring together health professionals from diverse backgrounds who share an interest in ageing and long-term conditions establishing a BRC Training Network Group led by BRC Director Professor Avan Sayer. This group meets to share knowledge of best practice and training needs across different organisations locally (BRC, Newcastle University, Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospital Trust, NIHR Clinical Research Network, Local PCN’s) and professional backgrounds (biomedical sciences, medical and nurses, midwifes and allied health professionals).
