Newcastle Health Innovation Partners is one of eight Academic Health Science Centres in the UK, bringing together world-class research, education and clinical practice for the benefits of the region.
The Newcastle Health Innovation Partners (NHIP) work collaboratively to translate research and innovation into real world benefit. They generate economic growth opportunities, build a culture for collaborative working and aim to upskill the regional workforce.
NHIP focusses on five key research clusters:

The NIHR Newcastle Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) links with the NHIP on the areas above, specifically the theme of Ageing and Multiple Long-Term Conditions.
