We are developing the next generation of researchers, giving them the knowledge and skills to undertake high quality experimental medicine and translational research in ageing and multiple long-term conditions.

Training highly-skilled scientists and clinical researchers is essential for the discovery of new ways to advance treatments to improve people’s health. We bring together expertise from across our partnership to design and deliver a range of training and career development opportunities at all levels.

We offer bespoke education, research training and mentorship opportunities at every level of the career pathway, across disciplines and professional backgrounds. Facilitated by expert PhD co-supervisory teams spanning our research Themes, the complexity of ageing and multiple long-term conditions means that collaboration and cross-disciplinary learning among trainees is a key element of our strategy.
